Hey y'all. Hoping I can get some help. Work decided to upgrade me to a 16 kw t680. Real beautiful truck. Where is the interior fuse box located so I can check a blown fuse on the 12 v plug? What may cause a hum when I key up my mic on my cb using factory wiring? Thanks for any help.

KW used to put a fuse panel down in the left corner by yer foot, and I think there might be something behind the glove box, but I'm not familiar with the new ones. Best I can offer

You might check the big bunch of connections under the hood on left side, there are some fuses there. There is also a fuse box in the sleeper. Look inside the side box to the left

Yeah. What MG said. Your humm. Idk mine does it too when I have my aux audio plugged in. Beware, everything in the cab is controlled by the CECU. These new models can be a real pain

There are three fuse panels on NGP's (T680 + T880, PB 567 + 579) with sleepers. Open the hood and look on the D/S firewall for the PDC (Power Distribution Center) and there will be a small fuse box there. Inside the cab there is another fuse box behind the panel to the left of the clutch pedal, it should be labeled. Finally, in the sleeper under the main bed there is a third, smaller, fuse box that contains fuses for sleeper accessories. You can access it by either lifting the bed or opening the D/S storage compartment door and looking to the left.

A few things before you go checking for voltage. First, do NOT probe into the PDC. The large, black plastic box that all of the connectors run into is considered the entire PDC. If you probe into the PDC with anything other than a pin that is the same size as a fuse's pin, you will spread the terminals in the PDC and the fuse will never make good contact again. The PDC is not serviceable, not even by a dealer. This will lead to te replacement of the PDC, which is NOT cheap. Second, if a fuse came out, a fuse goes back in. If a breaker goes out, a breaker goes back in. DO NOT change the fuse out for one with a higher amperage rating.

True, but I save a lot of $$$$ on fuel, I average 7.3 mpg at 80,000 lbs, have lots more room, swivel front seat, table and can turn on dime!

Even the new W9's are nothing but cheap plastic inside.
