Does anybody have the air suspension on the front axle of their T660? I'm curious of any opinions, likes, dislikes, etc..
I'm ordering a new 2013 T660 and the salesman made this suggestion to me.
T660 with Steer Axle Air Suspension??

Company I used to work for runs day cabs in the oil patch; T800s, 197" wb, IIRC. Recently stopped by, and after speaking to mechanics, and some of the drivers about the AG130, I will be looking to retro fit my 2007 T800. Wrenches say it's less maintenance than the spring, and pin setup, while drivers say smoother front axle ride, most agreed that there seemed to be more body roll in a curve. Keep in mind, these guys are paid by the mile, (faster = more $$$) and the curvy two lane back roads of south Lousy-anna are their turf.

Sounds good so far. I like the smoother ride comment. Most of our miles are on the interstate, so the roll effect shouldn't be too much of an issue.
Thanks for the info! -
Air ride is awesome. So what if it has some sway. Slow it down in the curves. Your tires should last longer with air ride, plus the ride is much better.

I vote Yes, I like full air ride, but really I'd say no reason to have full air on road trucktor. It is a good thing for cali truck, long wheel base cabovers with BDF bodyes, but not for trucktors

I am considering the air ride front axle too. Although I drive mostly on highways, but I regularly cross Michigan. And sometimes I am thinking about a dirt road would have much better ride.

I drove one for about 2 months with the air ride front axle and I loved it. Went from a T800 with springs up front to a T660 with the air ride front axle and the difference was night and day. If I bought another truck, I would have air ride up front in a heartbeat, without even think about it.

I do not think I would loose too much stability by switching the front suspension. Maybe I have to be a little bit more careful with cornering, but for me basically it is only the ramps, since I drive 99% of the time flat and straight highway.
Pablo, you are a knowledgeable guy, with lot of useful post, but I think your love for new technologies would cost me lot of money and lot of headache.
