An infamous person by the name of Jesperson used to work there. Inquire about him at your own risk....

My curiosity took me to Google, which led me to the Serial Killer page where I am assuming I'll find that name along with this case.
PICTURE WON'T SHOW (you wouldn't want to see it anyway, it'd just remind you of your GRANDMA!)Dorothea Puente is serving the rest of her life in prison for the murders of several men who were unlucky enough to stay at her boarding house. In order to keep their social security checks and medicare coming in, she would kill them, then she bury them in her backyard. They did however eat very well at Thea's house. Known for her cooking, after her incarceration, she released a cookbook, which you can purchase on the GOOGLE serial killder central.

Well here it goes. Tomorrow I start orientation for Systems Transport/Trans Systems Inc. in Spokane Washington. They flew me from Sacramento, CA to Spokane today. The airline was good and I had fun as I had not been in a plane in almost 20 years. Well I got to Spokane and the hotel sent a cab for us at no charge. Got to the hotel and it is an awesome hotel. I was expecting the worse after reading about the hotels that companys typically put you up in. Well this one is clean, up to date, and so far...only one person to a room meaning no roomate. Again I wouldn't be suprised if I did get one....just right now I don't have one. They said that the shuttle will be here at 6:30am tomorrow morning to take us out the the terminal. They advertise a free continental breakfast...I will let you know how it is. The company also is picking up the tab for lunch the next three days. Well that is all for now....I will update as I can about how things go.

ACETRCKR, I worked for System for a few years and I have friends working there now, driving, in the office and in the shop. I was an instructor in their school, as well. IMHO, TSI is a good company. They always treated me right and I wouldn't have a problem working for them again. Heh, my wife used to give classes during orientation. She was in Safety and handled cargo claims. That's where I met her, although we didn't get together until years later after she had left the company.Last edited: Oct 26, 2008

Man that kinda looks like me when i get out of bed in the morning.
Today went really well. We filled out a butt load of paperwork, read the manual, filled out some more paper work, took a drive test in a brand new kenworth, and then to top it all off we had to get another physical and take a physical abilities test. I passed everything and I am on my way to another day of watching more videos and filling more paperwork out. So far they seem really legit. They empasize the logbook stuff big time...an safety. Good by me. It really doesn't bother me......On another note my wife calls me around 10pm last night and told me my car got stolen. Luckily about 2.5 hours later it was found on the freeway out of gas. I guess they must have really enjoyed the joy ride as nothing was broken or taken out of the car.....dumb criminals. -

Well I talked to both Brenna(can't remember her last name) and Curtis(training manager). Today was ANOTHER day of watching videos taking quizes and filling out more paperwork. Tomorrow, I was told, we are going to do securement training and then we are done. From there we are supposed to be hooked up with a trainer and go on the road for six to eight weeks for training. We will see. They said that they will continue to provide a hotel room until I go out with someone. All I can say is I just want to get on the road and get this training over with.
