I can get a decent deal on a roll up door 53ft trailer, would that make a big difference on getting loads as opposed to swing doors? Thanks, Dan

Roll up doors reduce loading width . They also can be dangerous if not properly maintained and are more vulnerable to fork lift damage .

They also hang lower--so there are times a clearence problem with high pallets--also dry or reefer--as much as i always would like one--I do reefer LTL--so it would be nice on multi drop days--they are HARD to vent--if not impossible--so certain commodities you can't move--all depends on your application--but hey do require more maintence...

Lots of high cube loads you can't have a roll up door. You're really limiting yourself
