Swift Richmond,Va terminal

There is a terminal in Richmond????????

 

I was just haven't been there yet. Lots of them out there that I don't know about.

 

I heard it's a good terminal to run out of, been there a couple times with my pops, definetly a very clean and organized facility!

 

I have no idea how good it is to drive out of that terminal, but I was at the terminal a couple of days ago and it's really the nicest one I've been to. They actually had a "quiet" room where you could read or relax. After a long few days on the road, I could use with some quiet, so I loved the idea.

 

Real nice terminal there, didn't get to speak to anyone local though so can't answer the original question. The folks in the office were very kind, cordial and helpful. Showers were not bad and the lounge area was clean and comfortable enough. One of the nicer ones I've been to.

 

The folks are Richmond seem very nice. I've never had a problem with them. The planners for Richmond area are actually in Jonestown, PA.

 

Cleanest terminal I've ever been in. The guy that cleans there is crazy about doing his job!

Now I spent 4 frikken days there getting a "10 minute" job done. The service manager got fired the day before I got there, or on that day. The kid that took my paper work didn't enter me into shop status so I could get break down pay. Didn't order my parts for over a day. On day 4 they "fixed" my air leak. It was leaking when I left.

One guy was getting a B service and had to wait until they got filters. They keep little to no parts inventory.

People there were nice.

Shop opens at 8, closes at 4.


Don't go to this shop for repairs.

 

OR...go to edwardsville for repairs. Best terminals for their shop is Memphis, Columbus, New Boston and Inver Grove. Least the ones i've seen anyway.
