Don't get in a hurry to get any repairs. I had a steer tire replaced. 4 1/2hrs.

I hate having to sit in the drivers lounge. I was watching one mechanic doing a brake job. He got snippy with me and asked if he "could help me?" The supervisor that day was really mean to everyone going in to request work. Most terminals I have been to you get a work sheet and fill it out yourself. There they don't want you to touch it. (some have it stuck in a mail box in the prequlifying line) Peeled off a sheet and handed it to a newbie to fill out and they guy went off on her for doing it and asked where she got the paper from!

I also sat in the B service line 4th truck. In line at 9:30am done at 4:30pm.

The people in the office I dealt with were pretty good. Parts department too.

One thing for sure is they appear to be short handed.

I haven't had any issues with the shop there, but I've only been in a couple times, and I believe they were on the weekend.

I sometimes think the mechanics need reminded their purpose is to support the drivers. Without drivers there is no Swift, and thus they wouldn't have a job. Of course, that's true for the office folk as well. But I digress.

I use to be a driver with swift and went to school in millington,tn but the feds for some reason came in and investigated the school and asked that all drivers surrender their licenses due to the training so I got to start over, did that went to another school not through swift but another company think they will re-hire me .... not to mention I got hurt that is why I left I actually got cut on some freight but never got a letter stating I was terminated

Yeah the atlanta terminal shop is an "unpleasant experience" to say the least. the guy that writes stuff up day shift is a real hole,he was rolling his eyes and mocking me when i needed service.I went in to dispatch to complain and they asked who it was and when i told him he just kind of smiled and nodded his head "like yeah we know" i think the dude might have been on the way out though.the dispatch crew there is cool and have you ever had the bar-b-q there, oh my! mira loma.last time I was there fixed everything on my list. a few things that weren't on it, and they washed my truck! Hows that for service huh! Phoenix, everytime I get service there(my home terminal) the place is so big that I can never find my truck! I even rode around with security one time cause everybody was getting worried about where it was.(found it,but not where it was supposed to be! lmao)
