Does anyone know if it is okay to use Walmart supertech brand coolant in a Detroit engine? I know Detroit will probably say hell no, but I'm wondering if anyone has tried it.

If you're asking about the green coolant.......Yes.

But you will need to add SCA to it to protect the liners from cavitation.

If you're asking about the orange coolant......Yes, but you'll need to add SCA too, unless it's extended life coolant with the SCA already premixed already.

Additionally, never mix orange with green, or vice versa.
