They've been around for years here in the northeast....They used to do a lot of grocery warehouses and regional freight don't know about now....It would appear some of the trucks are newer now but they've run older (I'm trying to be nice) stuff for years..

They must have a high turnover because they are always running adds for drivers..

Tall Mike and Freddie Thank this.

Im with sSuperior. Been driving with them now for a few years

First, i should point out that any of the biggies.. USX, Werner, Swift, etc, are dealing with over 50% turnover, year over year. Thats because they teake guys right out of steering wheel school. So does Superior. so im not sure whatthe high turnover indicates to you
to me, it amounts to guys who arent really sure what theyre getting into with life on the road, until they get there
Myself, im in a fairly new prostar. truck is quite comfortable. Ive got all the creature comforts installed. my slow cooker stew is about ready, been going all day. got the microwave, the cb and so on. a lot of places wont even let you install such... but ive got it here
Im pullimg 2500-3000 miles weekly on avg
Yes, there are older trucks in the fleet. understamd... this is a family business. Newer drivers... read that higher risk drivers... start there. But, they move up fairly quickly.

Stomper why don't you tell him the truth? They run you way past your legal limits. They don't care if you get proper sleep, and you WILL be put in a #### box for a truck. When they hired me they handed me the keys to a piece of #### black truck....I walked over to it and opened the door and the smell that hit me was almost unbearable. I got inside the truck to look around and it resembled a living space for a farm animal.

I went back inside and said I refuse to work there if thats what they were having me SLEEP and WORK in. They said you can choose between these trucks, and they rattled off a few different truck numbers.

I went outside and looked at each truck and they ALL were ####### TERRIBLE. Every one of them.

They are dangerous as hell, they don't give a #### if you roll one of their #### boxes as long as that owner "Chip" is making money off you he couldn't care less.

To be honest, every driver I talked to there had absolutely NOTHING good to say about the place and the only reason most people stay is because they can't get hired anywhere else due to past driving record or criminal back round.

The place is shady as ####. STAY AWAY TRUST ME.

Also, I see this "Stomper" guy posting all this good #### about Superior and I really think he's the owner or dispatcher acting like a driver so he can put positive info out to counter the TRUTH about that company.

They don't have a really good reputation locally. Trucks don't appear to be all that well maintained either, and are very seldom looking like they're washed. I'd look elsewhere.

No, don't really know much about Emerson, except that they haul a lot of recyclables (used to pick up cardboard bales from one place I worked as a yard jockey). Their equipment is much nicer and newer, though I do see a lot of the trucks they've sold off working elsewhere.
