Havnt found ANY info on this radio. Apparently it is an import (or so the guy that gave it to me said). SSB, hi/low power (whats that?), Am/Fm (whats the fm for?), etc.
Came with an Astatic mic that I threw onto the Cobra for now until I learn more.
Thanks for any help!

Export is the proper term.
SSB is single side band
Run it on AM not FM
Select D for CB channels.BigByrd47119 Thanks this. -

I'll clarify for you....
AM and FM are the "modes". SSB is another mode.
FM is used in ham radio. As is SSB, but CB also uses SSB, sometimes. SSB is only good if your trucking cohorts also have an SSB radio. Otherwise keep it on AM.
Hi/low power just adjusts the dead key. Run it on high if you're running barefoot (no amp) or low (if you are going to run an amp) Keep in mind the legality issues with running amps on CB.
Also agree....band switch, find out which one gets you on the CB band and leave it there....flipping the band switch around gets you on the ham bands....last thing you want is a fine for unlicensed radio operation.
Is this the radio you have? It doesn't look like it has SSB....BigByrd47119 Thanks this. -
Exactly what I was looking for!
