Super load in TX accident kills three

Anyone find out who the trucking company was moving this superload??

 

It doesn't say what happened and it did mention that several cars were involved. It slays me that you jump to judgement when you don't know the facts and weren't there. Jesus wept.

 

Gonna be some big money paid out to the families from all parties involved. I bet the ambulance chasing lawyers are salivating over this one.

 

Also possible the people that got killed were driving along beside the truck. We all know that happens all the time. I would slow down many times to get em away from me.

 

Super loads that big typically have law enforcement escorts as well as the regular escorts..from ones i seen in Texas they will usually close a road down with a load that big while being escorted..lots of questions to asked over this..

 

On the other hand, the few pictures shown make me wonder about load securement, escorts, and speed. Dollars to doughnuts the 4 wheeler was trying to pass on the right and ran out of room, but how did the escort not block them? If they did something dumb to get around the escort, why didn't the truck just stop/drive to make sure the load was secure?

A lot of questions to be sure, but even if the 4 wheeler caused the accident I'm guessing the truck could have made some better choices.

 

I just can't wait to see all the dash cam videos.
