They're always hiring, if that means anything?? Maybe they're expanding ??

Sunbelt was bought out by Anderson Trucking Services Inc. The Sunbelt division later bought two local family owned furniture carriers, one of which concidently was Anderson Truck Line, and Newton Transportation, both of Lenoir, NC.

Sunbelt was orginially named Norton Ramsey Motor Lines, until a merger formed Sunbelt. They haul new furniture. Some of it T/L, but mostly multi-stop . They have O/Os, and company trucks. They try to get you to lease-purchase the company trucks. You are assigned a territory and run the same customers most times. Last I heard they were pushing the L/P plan prety hard. Friend of mine went for it against my advice, and lost his butt.

Things may have changed in the last year or so, but I know this was the way the operation was a little over a year ago.

 

I thought it was a flatbed outfit in florida!!
