I don't drive for them but a couple months ago I was talking to one of their drivers when we were both picking up at the same place. He told me they were on paper logs and pushed drivers to run illegal. Somewhat slow trucks for a paper log company I think it was 68 but I could be wrong. The guy seemed to like it but it sounded bad to me.

I've talked to a couple of their drivers and they seem happy enough. While living in TX I got it off the truck and into insurance, handling only trucking accounts. Summit Transport & Summit Logistics were both on my desk. Everyone I dealt with from the owner on down was pretty cool. They were also financially sound. It's been 8 months since I handled anything there so it could of changed. Hopefully not.

I worked for them their pay wasn't very good but they have good health insurance I left when they started switching over to the elogs if you live in Dallas Texas you could be home every weekend they didn't push you to run illegal and they were great to work with they have nice equipment. But their main route is from Texas to the Northeast... a lot of drop and hook easy Freight. Good dispatching would be easy to run on elogs. Safety has a good attitude and is willing to work with you they do require 2 years experience when I was there... I lived in South Carolina got married and wanted more home time with my husband. But I would recommend them but as I said the only downfall was there pay was not very. Trucks governed at 68.
