I picked load Friday night and supposed to be delivered 5:00am Saturday to Sams Club store. It was a water load. Arrived at reciever and was told that there was no room to unload my truck and was told to take it back to shipper. I called the after hours number and I can't get a hold of anyone. I emailed them and I finally got a response only to be told that they can't advise until they hear back from the customer. I have been unable to book any other load because my trailer is occupied with this load. I don't know what else to do. I need advice on how to go about this. I'm losing money by not having access to my trailer.

You email the address on your rate con and tell them they have one hour to respond or the load is going into storage you've taken every opportunity to try to reach them you've reached out no one will return your call no one will return your email and you have no choice but to put it into storage.
Make certain that you have reached out many multiple times and that you have documentation of this.
You can give them two hours or whatever if you like but someone will get back to you for sure. I would not threaten to do that unless you're ready to do that. But that will get them to call you back or email you back for sure.
Unfortunately they're just going to tell you not to put the load and storage and they're going to tell you they'll try to get you another appointment and the rest is going to be up in the air.
If it is not resolved by Monday contact the transportation attorney and go from there.
Most likely they will try to get you another appointment but that may take days it may take a week it may take a little bit of time. You can attempt to tell them what you want for storage and redelivery but in the end they are going to tell you what that will be I'm certain. Positively call the transportation attorney you need help on this.
I think that with Pepsi unfortunately once you break that seal to put it into storage the load will be rejected and there will be a claim.
That is one more reason why you need the Transportation attorney.Flat Earth Trucker, Rideandrepair, drvrtech77 and 2 others Thank this. -
That's happened to me a couple of times, but for different situations. One instance I took some latex gloves from Chicagoland to Virginia somewhere. They didn't want the x number of pallets that contained size small gloves. The broker found a place in Maryland, about 110 miles north of where I delivered. That's where I got rid of them. You're in a tough spot because it's the weekend. You'll probably have to wait to get it resolved tomorrow. They'll either tell you to take it back to the shipper, get rid of it, or find another place to hold it for the short haul, pardon the pun. Just make sure you're on the horn at the crack of dawn so you don't lose your day.

I had a friend that owned duplexes. Got ripped off a couple of times then hired an attorney to plan out efficient evictions for no pays. He went from four months to 31 days by having an attorney and coordinating with the sheriff.Flat Earth Trucker, Rideandrepair, truckdriver31 and 1 other person Thank this. -
