This clears up a lot . It means I dont need the other harness that goes to the ecm . The power comes up the shifter but it doesn't go down the air solenoids . I will change the harness from the shifter to the air solenoids and see . Another concern I have is the neutral switch . I didnt buy it . Will pick one up from the junk yard .

Anyone know of a shop in Phoenix that's good with Meritor 10 speed?

I'm having this same issue in my 03 classic. It grinds going low to high and back again but sometimes it won't go to high at all. When I flip the lever back to low it grinds going back to low. From what I've gathered it sounds like my high side solenoid is going out correct?

I ended up sheering a key off in the trans and had the whole thing rebuilt. As far as sometimes not going into high range it was the harness that ran from the bottom of the shifter to the solenoids had worn out and didn't always make connection. Replaced it and never had issues again and sold the truck a few months later.

I’m hoping that’s my problem (the wire from shifter knob) replaced the two solenoids, and gear shift knob. So the wire is next. Fingers crossed

If I had the part number is send it to ya but I don't. The neutral safety switch can also cause the same no high range issue
