Strange DD15 engine sound

Yes mine was cylinder head replacement had no compression on six cylinder once that was replaced the strange noice stopped could also be your valve needs adjustment if you need help finding a mechanic I know a very highly skilled mechanic he knows dd15 inside out in Springfield MO

 

Compression test done by DL will show what cylinder is malfunctioning... 5 min test..

 

2019 freightliner cascadia Was making similar noise. Chirping, crackling, clicking .. stopped off in Cheyenne, Wyoming at the Freightliner dealership/shop and before he plugged it up to see the code ( because the check engine light came on ) he told us to the noise sounded like a fuel pump. Once he ran the code it was definitely a fuel pump. Two to three day fix. The noise is metal shavings on the fuel pump coming off and being sucked in. Just wanted to give everyone the info since no one had an actual diagnosis.

Hello everyone. I noticed weird chunking sound in engine (dd15) 2014 has 865000 miles on it. First I noticed decreased oil pressure since last service done which was 3000 miles ago. But there is no engine check light on. Today I noticed this weird sound. Please help what it could be.
