Straight Truck Owner Operator info

    So I’ve been considering becoming an owner operator with straight trucks in Maryland. I have my Class A CDL and currently have about 6 months of experience driving yard jockey tractors, roll off trucks, straights, everything from 24ft-53ft I’ve driven without any accidents or negative reports.

    I have no restrictions on my cdl but my preference is automatics. Does anyone have any advice on what trucking brands are best for automatic trucks? I’m interested in 26ft with lift gate & ramp. Also any advice on starting up as an owner operator is appreciated.
