Hey guys. I'm new to this forum but I've been frequenting here more since I've been working with my uncle. He has two 26' box trucks in Florida (Orlando and Miami) that he wants to put to work. He's been in the industry for 19 and does not want to go through brokers so we've been using a load board. Currently I'm using 123loadboards but I can't find anything. Are there any load boards that would have more LTL postings?
Do you believe there's a better way to proceed? If so, let me know and I'll try to convince him.
Straight Truck owner looking for optimal load board? Alternative advice??(FL)

There is Expedited freight, not sure if there's any good freight coming out of FL.

As I scour through this forum and outher websites, I'm coming to that realization myself. I'm in New Jersey so there's only so much I can do for him here. Were the truck in New Jersey, I would try to find local places..

Florida stinks for expedite. Any expedited that I've run out of Florida was either for DOE out of Homestead (Turkey Point) or out of Miami. Two small exceptions were aircraft parts to the airport in Orlando and a pickup of some medical equipment in Gainesville that had to go to General Electric. If you run expedite, it's hard to get a load out. I rarely took any Florida runs unless I could get a run back out in under 48 hours. The closest place with any real expedite activity is Atlanta.

There is a lot of box truck freight but it won't come from load boards, you got to sell the service to customers or find a broker who is established.
