I'm using 11r22.5 steers. That's what my truck came with from the factory. The drivers inside of the steer tire hits the pitman arm. What can I adjust to keep it from doing this?

there is a bump stop on the axle that contacts the inside of the spindle to prevent that from happening. have the front end checked by a good shop for anything that might be worn out. Be safe!

Thanks. I found it. It's a screw with a lock nut. Thank you.

Sounds like your passenger side steer is clear of the pitman arm though so it's all good.
mugurpe Thanks this. -
Some steering boxes you have to reset the reliefs at either end of travel if you adjust those stop screws. If you don't the box will stay pressured up against the stop bolt, rather than dumping the un-needed flow back to reservoir. There is a procedure to do it but its been quite a while since I've done.

Just a thought but have you replaced the left rim at all? Reason I ask is different rims have different offsets which will put tire closer or farther away from pitman arm.

Hey fellas.
I have Volvo Vnl 670 with cummins isx engine, year:2011.
I noticed when i’m loaded and try to make a sharp turn left or right it clunks something at front wheels, so i opened the hood and try to check fro any play and movement on that pitman arm i can hear knockong while i’m moving and some play. My question was do i have to replace also some parts in the gear box too or just the pitman arm because i think that there is a piece from that pitman arm that goes in the steerbox. I will appreciate any answer from you guys.
Thank you and have a blessed day!
