If you are crazy or desperate enough to sign on, take pictures because they will say you didn't return the equipment to Ryder, although Ryder is aware they have it. Insurance fraud comes to mind, they have so many fake reviews, and not one single bad review because they work to delete them. Do not work or lease from them. They DO NOT own any equipment. RYDER lets them lease trailers and trucks. You've been warned, I ran with them for five weeks, and lost over $400 from deductions.

Yeah once those 1099 companies get that escrow, you may as well chalk it up to the game. That's the way they stay in business right there.

This sounds like AW Transport in Homer Glen, IL, not AW Transportation, Bedbuggers from Florida. Even their pictures online show stripped-down Ryder rentals with steel wheels.

And any time all the reviews come in batches, beware (in this case, 3-4 months ago, 7 months ago, and 3 years ago). That means they instructed folks during those times to fluff reviews for an incentive.

Only $400? I'd say you got off pretty cheap.

What the hell is the escrow used for anyways? I’m assuming it’s kinda like how you rent an apt and put down a security deposit. Once you move out, they make up all kinda of excuses on how this and that needs repairs…. They end up keeping your money! How many drivers have ever gotten their escrow back when they quit??

Just in case you return the truck and there's damage to the unit. When I had to give my truck back to TEL, the did an inspection on the unit and used the escrow that I'd built up to repair it. I still owed them $5,200 when it was over.

Thank you….. i knew exactly what that money was for!! I bet when you turn in your truck with no damages, they still will make up an excuse to keep your money!!
