I quit a good company to work for Super Service just because they were located close to home. BIG MISTAKE, this was 3 years ago before things got like they are now. I was paying everything out of pocket and then paying taxes on my money twice. I got the sob story we all hear from the dispatchers, "were getting u a load as fast as we can". I couldnt survive on $300-$400 a week so i had to quit after 3 months.

Are you smoking crack? They are now debt free, and were working on a debt solution the entire time. Not once have they shorted me a #### dime.

If you don't work for the company don't bad mouth it on stupid rumors.

I live in Somerset Ky where the terminal is. No cab service and no bus service in the town. When you quit is 50/50 you will walk home or at least to London KY 40 miles away to catch a bus. I have seen several drivers hitchiking on KY 80 fired or quit from that place. They had a bunch of exploding Kenworths afew years back, like 6 burned to the ground. The DOT score is 99!!! All the companies in Somerset are trashy and should be avoided.

Gainey isn't out of debt either. It's being restrutured, not done yet but working on it, and I wouldn't trust that crook Harvey Gainey any farther than I can throw him. The new owners are offering 77.8 million to the Banks, the new owners own most of the debt to so it's basically seizing assets and not a true buyout. The new owners are a capital management company that invest in companies with capital problems. No driver in Somerset KY will work there. The Lawyer who is getting the deals done was disbarred from MI BAR due to stealing money from the company. That's a fact

If they had a 99 SAFER score they would not be in operation.

There is an online website one can see the stats of any company, do you REALLY think that anyone is going to take you seriously just becuase you saw drivers walking home? GST/GTS/SS/LCT is hardly the first company to send drivers packing without buying them a ticket home.

If your claim about kenworth's blowing up is true, I fail to see how that is the companies fault. Is it the fault of the Ford owner's when their trucks randomly catch fire due to poor wiring? Should we hate them?

I looked Gainey up on safer, according to the information they have a 91 rate on the drivers, and a 38 on their trucks.

From what I understand Gainey used to be a bit more liberal on logs, then the complicance review hit in october of this year, and the FMCSA used the SAT QC data to check the logs and that really hurt them because drivers were logging they were one place and the QC showed them 100 or more miles off. Which is why they came down hard on logs just as we were hired.

Hence you can look here: http://ai.fmcsa.dot.gov/SafeStat/SafeStatHistory.asp?ais=&dot=275779&WhichForm=

And see that they were well below 90 until the compliance review when they slammed the log violations hard core.

Which is why Gainey is now 100% legal and will fire your behind for logging where you are not now. I imagine there were some hefty fines and now they have to be reinspected by dot in 6 months.

Now, please provide links to your facts, danny boy.

Well your right on several things.

    1. Super Service is not the only company to tell drivers to beat it with no way home. It is a mark of a bad company like a driver who stays no where longer than six months at a stretch. That's all Gainey companies like you admitted. Name me another major company in the Transportation 200 that is in a remote location with no cab service and 40 miles from the bus station. That's dirty and I doubt your a driver because only driver knows how it is and has empathy for another for that stuff.

    2. You know about the Kenworths they had catching fire because you mentioned why "wiring" I am trying to find a link for that but when Super Serviced sued it turned out it was the inverters thier IDIOT mechanics were installing catching fire while the driver were asleep. I know of at least 3 trucks I saw burned to the ground 2003-04 of thiers and heard about three others. Looking for link will post as soon as I find

3.it's 91 by your information for ALL of Gainey. anything over 80 is dangerous according to the graphs. SUPERSERVICE on it's own is 75.35 for driver and 75. for trucks.
    http://ai.fmcsa.dot.gov/SafeStat/CarrierOverview.asp?DOT=185359&WhichForm=safer

But your forgetting something VERY important, all companies get an automatic 99 or excessive accidents in last 24 months. Super Service has had 68 with more than 20 injuries and 3 fatal accidents on under 500 trucks owned never more than 440 dispatched over the past two years!!. That's 3 accidents that people died in, not the amount of deaths. Could be more I don't know but 3 or more people have died in Super Service crashes in the last 24 months.

    3. Gainey is legal now because the courts look at all aspects of the company in bankruptcy to allow them to run. Why give a failed company a chance to find a buyer when they are breaking the law. A federal Judge made them run legal! If history has taught us anything, it's Harvey Gainey and his inner circle will steal, embezzle, and put the public in danger for a dollarbill.
