Stay Away from Market Express in Portland Oregon

Market has always run O/O's heavy to CA and back, won't meet the fuel then. Have a friend that had 7 trucks on there between 1985-2004.

 

You must be talking about Market Transport. Market Express has only been around since 2016 And was started by the same guy who started Market Transport in 1969.
But Market Transport was sold in 2006 to UTI Worldwide & then sold to Wilson Logistics in 2019

 

Market express has grown fast marketing itself as a local carrier after Market Transport, Gordon, Interstate & Haney all got bought by companies from the midwest. But their pay, at least in the local area is below what any experienced driver with a good record can get.

 

I just leased on to them, running Bimbo from Kent to Denver.
hope the pay is good, they seem a legit company. good fuel discounts.
been driving for 20 plus yrs, i am hoping 1 trip per week then on to home.

This means that you have to sit at the waystation for 〰️ 10 hours and you have to wait until whatever does not meet DOT safety standards has been repaired.


The 19% Out of service is about one in five vehicles or one in five times that you go through the way station.


MARKET EXPRESS (MX) pushes Drivers and MARKET EXPRESS (MX) 's safety record for Drivers is not good either

〰️ when I missed my third check, I went to Accounting to complain. I basically told her that if I didn't get paid, I was going to go home.


〰️I walked out the door and I was looking on my phone to see if they had put some money in the account by direct deposit.... the person in Accounting called someone on the phone and actually told them they should fire me because I was demanding to be paid

They lie on the PSP trying to keep you from getting another job I've seen this with other drivers complaining, but they can literally hurt your career, resulting in you having difficulty getting another job ❗️. .... get an attorney MARKET EXPRESS (MX) doesn't just lie to businesses and have such bad business practices that the Better Business Bureau says MARKET EXPRESS (MX) doesn't only not even meet BBB standards... MARKET EXPRESS (MX) can't even be rated as a bad business.


MARKET EXPRESS (MX) falsified the ELD and I took pictures to prove it I didn't turn 〰️ MARKET EXPRESS (MX) into the FMCSA but I've had two friends who have a lot of trouble with MARKET EXPRESS (MX) and I've decided I will probably turn MARKET EXPRESS (MX)

into the federal Motor carrier for falsifying documents and I think that's $185,000 fine each time it happens.


Everything MARKET EXPRESS (MX) told me was a lie I had it in writing in message text what they said they'd pay me and they actually paid me $.10 cpm less than what they promised. And the weird thing is I was making about $.12 a mile more than two of the people I became friends with there.


In the lounge, I'd always ask people if they're happy working there and no one ever was sometimes they wouldn't talk about it at all


I can honestly say in all the time I worked for many companies, good and bad this was absolutely the worst company I have ever encountered They will lie about Drivers trying to force them to go back and I have two friends who are in that category that I know didn't have a problem except with Market Xpress

It's not just that MARKET EXPRESS (MX) company is bad .... They lie on the PSP's and they can keep you from ever working again. See an attorney.
