Sounds like they hired an astroturfer.

Just got done talking with a company who made a big deal out of how they only do things legal now that they have ELD's.

 

Man we had ELDs back in 2012, that doesn't make you safer. Fact is when we were supposed to be resting in our trucks on O.E we were really working for 18 hours straight. Then we would finish and rig out. Then it's on to the next one, with a fresh 14.

 

When rates were good back in 2014 I spoke to a bunch of their drivers and they were happy but the wages they were paying when the rates were good would have just barely made it worth my while and now that rates are as low as they are I can't imagine it being worthwhile unless you happen to live right next door to where the truck is parked everyday.

 

My husband recently left FDF because of the company is unorganized. He had to drive an hour to sleep just to be called back to the Odessa yard with in an hour for a load. The load was pUT on standby there fore he had to stay at the yard. He had to sleep in hisncar on several cocassions. He has yet to recieve his paychecks because of leaving before payday. Beware before you apply.

 

FDF declared bankruptcy in 2018.
