I think you get 1 - 1 1/2 for 7 days. You really need to stay out minimum 3 weeks there to do good. There a true OTR company running a lot of spot freight. Your days do stay in the bank there, meaning you can stay out say 1 year taking only 6-10 days off, then the following year take off 4-5 weeks. Just don’t stay home more then 2 weeks at a time I believe.

That’s cool. I’m good with 3 weeks. I do prefer regional, but definitely wanted to stay away from the 2 month runs if going OTR. Which seems the most realistic option. I prefer flatbed at this moment and I have read a lot of good about Melton.

Starting out maybe tough out 2 month runs for a while, bank days then start working on getting to a 3 week schedule.

Have you worked for Melton?

Yes, would still be there if wasn’t for family issues. Still talk to couple drivers regularly that started when I did in 2015.

Awesome! That’s great to hear. They’ve been heavy on my radar and the recruiter did call and run some preliminary reports. Thanks for the info!
