Starting a new career as a Truck Driver?

I am interested in starting a new career as a truck driver. Any recommendations on how to get started in this business? I am single and have no commitments other than focusing on a new career path. I would like to know which is the best company that offers a CDL training program in NE Indiana (Fort Wayne Area). I have done some research online, and Driver Solutions Network is offering a free CDL training program with a 1 year OTR contract with either PAM Transport or USA Truck. How are these companies reputation for training and job placment etc. Do you reccomend PAM or USA Truck, or do you reccomend choosing a differnt path or compaines for a CDL license?

I would appreciate your feedback and any information you are willing to share to help me get started in the right direction to for a sucsessful career as a Truck Driver.

 

Thanks for your reply, I am considering either C1 here in Fort Wayne through Driver Solutions or SAGE Truck Driving School located in Kendallville, IN. I have read some good reviews about SAGE, one quality is 1 on 1 training. Any suggestions?
