This truck came into the shop with hacked together battery system, the metal hold down was bridged to both positve and negative cables. The negative battery cable connectors to the harness have been eliminated by the lead tech here also (argument about jerry rigging between me and him happened)

The voltage reading disappears on my scanner intermintent and my aftertreatment data doubles in value than disappers.

Ive spent days scouring Mitchell and the internet, the international mechanics in Detroit arent friendly. Someone help me please ill buy you lunch if you help me fix it

Restore the battery connections to factory, load test the batteries as well. Don't mess with anything else until the battery connections are correct, they are critical. Upload a picture if possible.

This truck should be a 2013 model or close to it. This code is basically for ECM pin 46 of the chassis harness connector has no power. It suppose to be supplying battery power. There is a 5 amp fuse near the ECM relay. Looks like it is tied up in the main engine harness somewhere around the steering shaft/firewall area.

I took fender off and see a few inline fuses by the PDM they seem to be getting proper voltage, mitchells told me to check that pin you mentioned, but Mitchells doesnt supply a connector call out for this engine.

Also, ive been a lurker for years on this forum and i wanna thank all the hardened vets, catalogued topics you guys have created have saved my ### multiple times!

Yes, those are them. I have actually never looked for this fuse to be honest, so we're both going to learn where it actually is, LOL! Shows the wiring to it is K97AN and K97AM. Both red 18 gauge. K97AM is spliced into K97XA which is the big 10 gauge purple battery supply wire for the ECM relay. One relay is for the ECM, the other is for the EGR valve and other actuators.
