What are the colors of splitter buttons and types of trans they are on ?
Are there any trans that have a Reverse besides in the H pattern?
Are there any trans that have a different shift pattern than a typical progressive H pattern?

Think that every splitter button I have used has been red.

15 speed I used to drive used a U pattern instead of an H.

Also drove this really odd 10 speed in a straight truck. Pretty much a 5 speed where you split the gears, like a Super10. Odd thing is that you would run 1-3 splitting the gears, then go 4lo to 5lo, then back to 4hi and finish up in 5hi. Only figured it out after reading the sticker on the sunvisor, and still can't fully understand how it works.

i think the super 10 is grey also
you can turn the last two holes around fo overdrive and it shifts in a u shape for the most part

some macks still have a reverse that is basically the forward gears with a deep reduction...

my old 3 stick mack had 6 or 7 reverse gears...actually pretty useful

yepper it was a Mack trans that had Reverse on the splitter. Ran a Mack dump truck pioneering logging roads w/ a triplex(3 stick) trans. Lots of guys w/ extensive experience on this board.
