not at all...i'm a company driver. Whats more funny, are the company drivers who put those lights on their truck or the chrome lugnut covers and center caps, only to be taken off when they leave. now THATs a waste.
i can understand the stuipd 'fast driving' in a parking lot, but why is it when drivers are too lazy to back into a spot, they get all butt-hurt when they back out, and nobody stops for them??
(i just like to liven up a thread a little) =)

Speaking of the "little man"
Outwardly I can afford;
Corvettes
Big Radio's
Chrome
Lights
Top Level Trucks(more then one)
I support my lifestyle and attitude to "SUIT ME"because I can afford to!
I do not jackazz thru parking lots and fuel lanes and I never turn off my jake brake.
My operating skills allow for smooth operation and respect for my truck.
I do not carry some preconceived idea "I must" be respectful
to others in a T/S.
What I do is my thing, how I do "My Thing" just happens to be "How it should be done"
Everything follows suit and falls in place by its self.
Does any of that make sense to ya ?

There is no crime in taking a little pride in your ride.
If you see a truck backing out of a space and don't stop for him you are an #######!
When you have a little more time on the road and you're paying the bills on your own equipment maybe you'll understand. -
Oh i take pride in my company ride. its always clean in and out. everytime i go home, its hand washed.
and can understand about why some nose-in. Was in Morris, IL couple weeks ago, and a guy was explaining why he was nosed in to drivers on either side of him who were backing in. he had just had a new hood put on his truck.
but if its that big of an issue, then get to a t/s early enough and park in a corner, or do what other drivers do, park next to the scale. If i've got a fleet of trucks behind me turning off the road, sorry but i'm not stopping so some guy who is worried about damage to his truck, or because he cant back into a spot and end up being a hazzard to myself.
why would you expect to inconvience 5 drivers who have ot wait for one driver to backout? ...not to mention be hazzards themselves. you know how poorly some t/s are laid out. any backup snowballs and becomes a huge puzzle. if NOBODY is behind me, i stop. if there is anybody behind me, forget it. the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the one.
and yeah, i'm not as experienced as a driver with 5-10 years in. but i'm more experienced than studends fresh out of school now, huh -
if were on the interstate 9 times out of 10 there to stupid to just go around me, but its best if its a 1 lane road
theres nothing i hate more then being tailgated
some idiot in a yellow semi some company i never heard of sunbelt or sunset or somethin was tailgating me on the interstate bad and i was going about 60......i let off the gas til i got to about 30, he started blowing his air horn and i just held the middle finger out the window -

Get to the truck stop earlier? How does that solve the problem of idiots backing into my truck? Or be a complete A-hole and park next to the scale because some other ###### can't drive?
How many times do you think I've had to sit on the street waiting to get into a truckstop? Not because someone was backing out of a parking spot but because some steering wheel holder was parked in front of the fuel islands while he went shopping or took a shower or rooted around at the buffet and trucks were backed out to the corner waiting to get to the islands.
It's called common courtesy...SweetSouthernRide, misterG, 73 FJ40 and 4 others Thank this. -

Think it's interesting that we haven't heard from the parking lot speeders...
