There's that carpet hauling co in Cartersville, GA. They have a terminal in w. TX. Also, 7 Hills is the name of it.

Well l can't remember any of this family members who wanted to keep it running so the owner may have cashed out of trucking and moved to Florida and retired, when I drove for them many years ago it payed team at 10 cents a mi for every mi the truck went, it was carpet to CA. and produce to forest park ga. farmers market. over and over, when we got a long enough rope with a steel hook on end to tie up to palm trees and pull rolls of carpet to end of the trailer so forklift could get single rolls off in driveways it payed 10 bucks a stop extra?

Back on 4/14/2022, Chinatown gave you an excellent suggestion, looking into Danny Herman Trucking, as shown below:
1) In addition to Chinatown's suggestion, move to either El Paso TX or Laredo TX, providing that you are able to do so, & switch over to a Texas CDL. This way you would be close to one of the terminals, along with getting southeast to southwest runs, and vice versa.
2) Texas is one of several states that does not have an income tax.

The absolute sheer driving force of our national economy - without truck drivers, our entire national economy would come to an absolute standstill - if not outright be dead.
Over the mountains, through the woods, into the valleys, coast to coast, from sea to shining sea - truck drivers can and do go anywhere and everywhere, every day, every night, all year round.Last edited: Apr 23, 2022
