Hello all, my employer will be getting me a new 4 Car Carrier (3 on the Bed and 1 in Tow on the Wheel Lift) soon... I'm coming from a 2015 Freightliner M2, and before that a 2010 Hino 258... The Hino was a good truck, but they don't offer it in a tandem axle (and that's what we need for the weight I'll be hauling), and the Freightliner has been nothing but a pain in the butt since day 1, with various little issues, enough that I would never consider operating one again.

So, I've decided on getting a 2018 DuraStar 4400 series International... I'm just curious about a few things (I really need to visit a Dealership to check them out)...

The dash, I see there is the standard flat dash and a ergonomic dash, I'm just curious if there is any advantage / disadvantage to having the ergonomic dash? I normally travel solo.

The "Driver Information Display" to the right of the HVAC controls... is it worth having this addition?

I'll be getting it "loaded", with aluminum rims, dual fuel tanks and steps to cut down on any possible rusting issues, so the truck doesn't end up looking like crap in a couple years... I don't plan on getting the optional exterior grab handles (that seemingly rot the cab where they bolt on to my Freightliner)... Talk about lessons learned after years of driving huh?

    Any other recommendations / suggestions?
