As the title says which of these do you all prefer? I have been using SmartTruckRoute but have seen others suggest Trucker Path. I do like Smart trucker shows times and such along the path. It does freeze up on me from time to time. Hate when that happens in town and I need to know directions.
Smart Trucker app vs Truck Path, which do you prefer?

Never even heard of SmartTrucker app. I use Truckerpath alot. It is great for finding truck stop parking and whether or not weigh stations are open. It really doesn't work well as a gps. I use Copilot for that.

I use SmartTruckRoute, if that's the app you are referring to, and prefer it. I've not had any issues with it on my phone, but I do on an occasion turn on truckerpath to check parking if I think a truckstop might be full. I still prefer my atlas for actual routing, just use the GPS to help gauge me while I'm driving and help with last few mile directions off the interstate.

Used truckerpath previously, deleted when I read they had been acquired by Chinese firm.

Trucker Path isn’t exactly a truck route app. It’s an app for finding truck stops or services, and most importantly, knowing the parking status (full, some spots, or lots of spots). I have never used it as a truck GPS.Last edited: Jan 20, 2019

I use the Trucker Path app daily for fuel stops, relative fuel prices, parking and weigh stations. I also update the parking situation as well as the status of a weigh station.
For directions, I have been using CoPilot Truck GPS w/Active Traffic on my tablet for 4 years now and I have never had a problem with being somewhere I shouldn't be like roads that are truck restricted.
I also use the current year motor carrier atlas as a comparison/backup to make sure my CoPilot GPS is correct and not sending me down a road or over/under a bridge that I shouldn't be on.Razorwyr, Truckermania and Lepton1 Thank this. -

I use Trucker's Path. I use it for finding parking and letting me know if scales are open. I don't use it for navigation.
TP is fairly accurate for it's purpose. It relies on updates from truckers that use the app that are in or close to a truck stop or rest area. If you see a truck stop that shows the lot is full, many times there is plenty of parking, if you are willing to park far from the store and fuel islands.PE_T Thanks this.
