When I first started it was difficult, but eventually I got used to it.

Not loud at all. In fact. I cannot sleep at home. Too #### quiet.
I need that engine through the bones it's a perfect z generator at 1200 rpm.
Remember Truck Interiors are some of the best offered by Mankind in the United States you can have your overpriced plush Escalades, we keep our nice interiors that rival those of Cadillac and sometimes are superior to them.
It's hard to describe to someone who have never been inside one. You have to be there to experience it.
With that said, if there is going to be a problem, it's the poor sap who parked downwind and is now choking on the CO2 gas accumulating in his cab and killing him plus destroying his quality of rest as to literally either go to the hosptial or stay in the hotel for a day, throwing away 600 miles of productively.LindaPV, Dave_in_AZ and pattyj Thank this. -
I had to get used to the loud noise. I am convinced I have a sign on my truck that directs reefers to park next to me!
The funny part is that just when I was getting all nose in the air looking with disgust at reefers......they gave me a load that was a reefer load! LOL! It was ME apologizing to the drivers next to me for the loud noise! Karma!I like manuals and audeygdad Thank this. -
12 ga Thanks this.

Wasn't difficult for me at all.In fact I would have rather parked next to an idling trk or reefer.
Mntrucker91 and Big Don Thank this. -
As long as that reefer runs continuously it lunula me to sleep. But when they cycle all night it takes some getting used to.

I am always hyper alert at truck stops. I am always concerned that a driver will hit my truck while backing next to me.
-
The only time I have a problem is when one of my 'neighbors' decides to crank up their stereo with a lot of bass after 9 or 10 at night, or play their video game thru their truck's sound system and the music on the game they're playing has the same droaning rhythm.
tucker Thanks this. -
I wouldn't know. I sleep at home. Couldn't imagine having to put up with sleeping in the truck.
stungjoe Thanks this.
