How are you training the new driver from the sleeper. Sounds like a team to me.
Anywhichwaybutloose and Snailexpress Thank this. -
The comapny i work for trains drivers for 4 weeks minimum for otr drivers so you basically run as a team after you assess their abilities. But it is training.

So...you put trust in a new driver with little to none experience to drive a loaded semi down a mountain with you sleeping in the bunk.....
Okay!12 ga and Snailexpress Thank this. -
I didnt say they had no experience. Regardless if the driver has 1 year experience or 10 years they still have to do 4 weeks

Now back to the op....if you have a stereo system there is a fader....and balance knob or button from the settings menu, manually set " fader " to front only. -
Push audio button on radio and adjust speakers how you want

What exactly does the sleeper mute button do? Does it stop the person driving from hearing your conversation in the back
-
Howbout farts? Does it mute farts? Snoring? I'll never in a million years figure out how two people that aren't married can live in a truck for more than a day.
The fader on the stereo ought to solve this problem so I figured I'd address another problem.
