Any new truckers apply to a new company having already been diagnosed with sleep apnea.
when you did the medical with them, was it an issue, did it slip your mind, or what kind of info did you have to provide.
I’ve heard random stuff, some shady stuff and some things where they don’t want to bring you on if you have it bc you’re a liability. I’ve Los heard that some companies don’t care as long as your sleeping habits are within the parameters.

As long as I successfully got my DOT physical card, my company was fine with me using a CPAP machine. I did have to show doc doing the DOT physical a readout from the machine, showing that I use it and that it’s successfully treating my sleep apnea.
