Hi all,
I'm wondering if anyone knows of any companies that have a child rider policy. My daughter is 7 and homeschooled.
Thanks

You will not have time to continue home schooling in a truck cab between driving periods.
Child need to be home in school with people who will homeschool her or in a proper school. YOU focus on driving and resting.PE_T, 70’Nova, truckdriver31 and 5 others Thank this. -
I have to agree with x1Heavy.........You'll Never have Time to "help" or "coach" your little one in a truck- Just not enough Time and Too Dangerous...
We're certainly not trying to assist in raising anyone's children, But Kids should be in the presence of other children at that age to develop friendships and character.....Or in a Home to be Homeschooled, Not in a semi truck.PE_T, 70’Nova, truckdriver31 and 2 others Thank this. -
No company will allow it. That's why the child rider policy is only for Summer Vacations and there is also a Child age restriction that is usually established by the Insurance provider.
tscottme and truckdriver31 Thank this. -
I have seen Moms with child seats in pass. seat of trucks driving for prime with books and lots of toys in bunk, she let me sit in her truck when my A/C was out coming out of FLA. one afternoon to cool off for a hour or so?
