    Hi all,

Going to be new to OTR I was putting together a packing list. Wanted to know if I need to pack towels and washcloths or do truck stops provide towels?

    Thanks:biggrin_25520:

Truck stops provide towels but it doesnt hurt to take one along. The service plazas on the OH turnpike offer free showers but you need your own towel.

I agree... sometimes the towels are small or crappy quality. Doesn't hurt to have your own...

I would take one of each. Some smaller independent truck stops don't provide them. You will usually shower wherever your company fuels, but can wind up needing one in an out of the way place.

    Good Luck

DO NOT, forget the flip flop\shower shoes. Those floors are nasty.

There are lots of places to hang damp towels in the truck. Over the passenger seat back, on the door of one of the cabinets, etc. Just be creative.

You may want to cover an upholstery with a garbage bag or something to prevent them from getting damp.

Bring a towel, but don't use it unless you have to...

Most common truckstops make them available...
