Do you wear your shoes in your truck or take them off once in the cab? Is it a hassle to keep taking shoes off and putting them back on when stopping to jump in and out of the truck?
Shoes or socks?

when driving I got sandels or slippers on, in the sleeper just socks or bare feet. You got to keep the truck clean inside
motortechfreight Thanks this. -
Wear shoes anywhere in my truck other than the drivers and passenger side floor board is an invitation to death lol .
I don't wear Jerusalem cruzers .rabbiporkchop and Macneil Thank this. -
Sandals almost year round. Barefoot as soon as I step in the door most of the time. Socks irritate the hairs on the top of my feet to no end.

Boots. Always.
Only time they are off is when you are in a true safe haven with no storm pending or expected during the next 12 hours. -
The most I wear is socks in the cab. I normally go bare foot, even while driving. I know DOT isn't too fond of it but that's just the respect I have for the equipment that enables me to earn a living.

Safety boots all day long, in and out of the truck way too much to be fussing with them. Plus while loading I have to move the truck as little as four times and as much as 8 or ten times. Farmers aren't going to shut off the auger so I can undo my laces.
04 LowMax, Dominick253 and Blackshack46 Thank this. -
Same, I never take my boots off unless I'm getting in the bunk. I clean the drivers side out all the Time and vacuum. My boots never leave the front mat.

There are 10 fire bottles (Extinguishers) inside my unit. Two at every likely place where if there is going to be a inferno it might have a chance to get out the window.
Start wearing safety boots. Learn to like em. Save your barefoot for the beach. -
I wear slippers while I drive and I keep my running shoes beside the drivers seat and between the door. That way, when I need to get out(for whatever) it's easy. Steel toe boots and or shoes(depending on where I'm loading/unloading and their PPE req's) are in the....boot box! My slippers even have a back and sole on them to please the DOT if ever questioned. No boots or shoes allowed in the bunk, ever!
When I was doing float work, I'd run with my boots on almost 100% of the time. Having to get in and out of the truck a bunch of times during the day and even getting out to do a load check involving 3/8-1/2'' chains, boots are a good idea.
