Shark Trucking/ Houston TX??

lots of pipe loads. lots. Trucks look like a hot mess. What are you looking for in a company?

 

Driver don't work there.. The owner treats the drivers like garbage.. So dose the dispatch personnel... They have crappy old trashed out trucks and have no consideration for the driver.. You'll go pick up at all these pipe yards and spend hrs waiting to load or unload and don't get detention pay or layover, breakdown pay.. And if you do break down the owners wants you to try and fix it yourself to save money on road repair cost.. I worked there for a yr and all I got out of it was me paying for his equipment that he should be providing for you as a flatbed company. They charge you for normal wear and tear on straps and bunji and even for the lumber you need the will make it seem like its driver neglect on his equipment and charge you for it.. My advise to you is not to work there.. I feel bad for the good drivers that work there but they should stand up for themselves and not deal with the ####.. Then again if you complain about anything he'll just tell you to find another job if you don't like it..!!! It's your choice but you should go see for yourself before working there.. Ask them to show you the trks and you'll see what I mean.. They will all be nice to you and tell you all you want to hear so you sign on.. Then you'll find out that it's all lies!!!! But like I said see for your self before you sign on.. Good luck

 

Oh and F.y.i. Your not allowed to take your trk home for any reason.. Even if you live in the same area your delivering in.. You'll get fired.. And Their turnover rate is 100%

So true! They are a sister company to Hoffman out of Chickasha Oklahoma and run junk. The owner is the Son of Gary Hoffman of Chickasha and yes they both treat drivers like garbage...... I started out at Hoffman and really the loads weren't all that bad. Pipe, Bricks, AC Units, Ect. Kristy in Chickasha is a complete piece of Trash!
