I have 2 mirrors with similar issues:

*left side: mirror is secure to the door at all 3 anchor points; however at highway speed, it wobbles at the mount. What should we look at as a cause, and how would we fix it?

*right side: spot mirror is loose within the housing. Short of replacing the entire thing, what can we do?

If the glass is moving I have seen gladhand rubbers slid in between the glass and the housing. I thought it was slick.

obviously not a permanent fix but hey if it works…….

I could be mistaken, but I don’t think you can replace just the glass or “insides” on that truck. I had one at Ozark with shakey mirror and the entire assembly had to be replaced. Thats another thing that sucks about newer trucks and cars. Stuff is made as an assembly. Can’t just rebuild or replace parts like older stuff. Also makes it much more expensive to repair a small issue.

Diagram? I am not a mechanic, nor do I play one on TV.

Is it easy enough for someone with basic skills?

Thank you... I would have posted a picture, but you beat me to it....

Like I said, does anyone have access to a diagram? Is it easy enough for someone who has basic skills to fix?
