Hello this morning after driving an hour with a load the MIL and the check engine light come on i pull over and look for diagnostics on the dash it sais 1 active code
”service engine emissions system 10% derate” i will also post a picture of it so i try doing a park regen it wont do a park regen 1 of my buddies told me to to turn off the power kill switch for a couple mins then turn it back on after doing that the check engine light went away but the MIL still stayed on with the same msg after driving back to the yard the MIL stayed on but the derate msg went away so did it regen while i was driving back to the yard? Or i should get it checked out? The MIL is on but 0 codes now the truck is a 2016 freightliner cascadia dd13 please advise thank you

Did you do a force regen ?

A regen will never fix an issue if its a problem in the SCR system. It's seperate from the DPF.

These trucks do strange things , I have seen ghost codes come and go and I have forced regens with a module that cleared out problems.
