Most of the nastyasses would be nasty no matter what they did for a living...Some people are just filthy slobs!
I use soap and water regularly and have been known to shower a couple or three times a day if it's needed.
Taking care of your body is as important as any other thing that you do out here.
If you're one of those people that thinks that you just have to pound out the miles with no regard to personal hygeine or health...You're an idiot!JustSonny and outerspacehillbilly Thank this. -

To the OP, there was nothing stupid or ignorant about your question. Some of the responses, well, I won't go there.
There is a lot of information on line about fungal infections, how they are transmitted, treated and prevented. Needless to say, (but I'll say it anyway,) that prevention is MUCH better than treatment.
But anyone who has ever had a case of athlete's foot has had the potential for that fungus to move to other locations in their body. -
Haven't seen this mentioned yet so here goes. Keep in mind I'm not yet a pro this is only what I've heard or read about. Seems to me that hemeroids and DVT (Deep Vein Thrombosis) are two of the more serious ailments known to befall the unsuspecting trucker. While roids may only be a discomfort, DVT can kill. DVT is clotting of the blood in the legs due to poor circulation.
DVT has gained more exposure lately as a silent killer. Anyone required to sit for long periods of time are at risk. To combat this potentially deadly affliction experts suggest moving the lower body every few hours. This could include simply tapping your toes for a few minutes.
Here's wishing everyone many happy healthy miles. -
Sorry folks didn't mean to post it twice.

if you break out in rashes due to too much sweat, baby or shower to shower powder will help keep it dry down there and not so tight underwear so air can get down there
-
Beyond weird rashes, other ailments include hip problems and torn rotator cuffs.
Canned Spam Thanks this. -
but the gold bond ,or even johnstons baby powder will help
