I noticed that the trailer's air brakes are slow to release. I let g oof brakes but continue slowing down. Further investigation shows that it is only one axle out of two (we lifted the rear end with a forklift). What could be the culprit here?

So its when you let off the brake pedal? Both wheels on the same axle? If so it has to be something common to both sides on that axle on the air system. Sounds like maybe a quick release valve is not exhausting, so the air has to vent out the relay valve instead. Maybe the relay valve exhaust itself is plugged up or jammed?

Changed my passthrough air intake manifold under the steering wheel on my 2013 freightliner but now only when I hook up to different trailers it take about 10 to 15 seconds for the trailer brakes to completely to release when I step on the brake pedal why is this
