The value of any business most always boils down to the "net" annual profit. Otherwise, it becomes strictly an asset sale. Don't shoot the messenger.
tommymonza, Mr.hustle and TruckRunner Thank this. -
Just guessing, we had people looking to buy them, but the value would depend on demand, and you need a motivated buyer. There isn't the motivation there was even 4 months ago, there are niche markets, if you can get into one of those, you may do better, may even decide to keep it for yourself.
Midwest Trucker Thanks this. -
I just want to sell it because I'm moving into another business....25(2)+2 Thanks this. -

The value for a two year old authority isn't close.win-some-loose-less, Broke Down 69, tommymonza and 4 others Thank this. -
Know of a few that sold for $1000.oo and they were 5+ year old. Along with being spotless. No Speeding tickets. And good clean Inspections on those also. If your so sure its going down the crapper after Dec. You can always wait until after that time frame. Then it's worth, $0.oo. Also most that pay more for a Company. There getting way more then just a Number. That will not help them out for the Amount.
Good Luck. -
$300......
rank, Dave_in_AZ, Ruthless and 1 other person Thank this. -
35k?
What's coming with the MC#?
For 35k,it best have a stable book of business-And possibly some assets.
Otherwise- an MC# (Clean or not) 2 years old is worthless
So like Ridgeline says- Take that $35k like there's no tomorrow.86scotty, Broke Down 69, tommymonza and 2 others Thank this. -
