I've read an article on a former driver Regarding Seaboard Transport there are alot of stuff that he failed to mention is that your paid xxx amount of money for waiting and also the main thing this company has is a pension that they will match up to $0.XX per mile i did the math and believe me its well worth it. Dont get me wrong im a runner myself but if a company is going to pay me to wait hell i will be watching netflix. Ive done my homework with this company. And this is a once in a lifetime Type of deal. So for those who want to follow that driver footsteps go ahead but when its time for me to retire i will have a fat pension. What will he have.

P.S if you have any questions pls feel free to ask i will try to answer to the best of my knowledge.

Ok finished my first day of orientation. It went very well after going thru all the paper work i have to say this is a blessing from the man up above... The pay structure is awsome and the main thing im after is the PENSION PLAN....... You tell me who else offers that. And for each day we are here the let us charge 25 dollars to the room for food or you can buy your food and give them your receipt and the will reimburse you. And i have to say the medical is super cheap here. Well drivers i will report tomorrow and let you know how it went. And if you have any questions pls feeel free to ask and i will try my best to give u the answer u need.

Ok day three isover they assigned Me my truck and going over the whole truck process. And yeah its different but hey i can tell u the truck has good power. Well let me get down to a touchy subject. Ive been around alot of people in my days all we all done thing to always make our deliveries and doing our job. Well this type of job is all the same but everything is by the book. There are people that love to run hard and there are people that love to do nothing. when you combine those two you have a job that you can make great money. in this type of environment of a job you need to understand the process. you're getting paid to wait you're getting paid well so if you have to wait 1 hour or 2 days for load you are getting paid so you are guarantees miles but have to have a lot of patience if you are a crybaby or a whiner this job is not for you. if you are a person thats looking to support their family and have all the great benefits that come with the territory this job is for you. so to the people out there that has bad mouth seaboard transportation I would say those are the ones that were very impatient. all I know is I finally found my home in this is where I will retire With a full pension.

The orientation in overland Park Kansas. I've already started my first run so far everything is great. Currently im in San diego california and the truck runs great just like a normal truck bbut the difference is is not as loud as a regular truckI spent 16 hours at home then I went my merry way to San Diego. all the trucks have prepass toll passes PeopleNet satellite with navigation. I'm not going to lie I was nervous at first but when I realize that they give me a list of fuel stops to go to I felt a little bit at ease now that I'm in San Diego I say to myself hell this is a cinch and I am happy to work for seaboard transportation If u want u can follow me on Facebook highway runner
I will continue to give updates.
