Well I've been stuck here since Friday(10-05-10) just a waitin for my load that was according to my dispatcher was supposed to be ready Sat morning(10-06-10). Seems like this place is very unorganized and will not load you out until the drop dead time every time. This leaves you with no margin for error on the drivers part. I won't even touch the 11 hour rule with this. Just wondering if anyone else of the 10 or so trucks sitting here at the West T truck stop waiting feel the same way. I have talked to 3 or 4 and they feel the same as me. To sum it up Seaboard Shipping department SUCKS!!!!![]()

Yeah been there, did it and done it. Seaboard is noturios for being slow. I am used to it, however. Being a meat hauler it's the way it is.

I've delivered to Seaboard a few times, new holding pens, feed troughs, etc., even on the unloading side at the various hog farms it's a slow process. Spent 5 hrs at one hog farm, in the middle of July with no A/C while they unloaded 42,000 lbs of cast iron feed pens from a 20' container.

And yet the dumb truck drivers keep going back so WHY would they change? When the trucks quit waiting for FREE they will be forced to change their process won't they?
LoneCowboy Thanks this. -

Haha, i know, just giving a hard time

Tell the carrier you're not hauling that crap unless they pay waiting time. If they say no then you have a decision to make. If your time has no value then keep waiting for free, if it has a value you will either get paid for it OR you will move on. Only dumb truck drivers do the same thing over and over again, ##### and chew about it and expect it to change. Draw a line in the sand with your employer.Grouch Thanks this. -
