Out here in Tacoma and picked up a pair of these. Gonna try them out at least. It's a two blade system that is supposed to scrub the bugs right off the windshield. I'll keep you posted. Anything to not have to stop 2 times a day so I can see!

twin blade wipers are better, but bugs are problem for them too!!!!! really I saw washer fluid on gas stations that helps scrub bugs.... really helps, I hope it is not corrosive
-
I'm gonna pick that up too and try it in unison. Driving across Montana and North Dakota gets nasty.

Mine lasted whole week. Good luck.

I don't know if it is because of the road chemicals they are now using, or cheaper manufacturing of wiper blades or the rubber compounds, but I can't seem to get blades to last much more than 6 months. This is both on the truck and my 4 wheelers. Doesn't seem to make any difference what brand or style either.

really now cheap chenese blades are of good quality, like bosch for example!
-
hardlyevr most of the trouble with the blades lasting only 6 months is the sun. the sun will break down the rubber and dry them out...
-
Food for thought too: While I need an answer to the same question in dealing with the bugs.....the double blades will double the work load placed on your wiper system....and it's not designed for that. It could cost you a wiper motor, an arm, electrical relays etc. "Could" is the key word here.

Splash brand bug scrubber washer fluid helps some. Its green in color.
