I've done 5 or 6 loads out of here and I think only 1 went smoothly, in and out in about 2 hours. Most other ones took 4-5 hours. Here's a short list of problems I've had with them:

    1. Couldn't find the order. I had a PU # and the lady said it's not valid. Called the broker, who called them and verified it's valid. Lady still said it's not valid. This went back and forth a few times for about an hour until she somehow found it. This happened on 2 different loads.

    2. Overloaded me twice. First time was supposed to be 47k but I got 49k. I could still scale that legally so I didn't make a big deal out of it but I was pissed because I usually charge a premium on anything over 48k. Second time I was supposed to get 42k but got 55k instead. Went back to Have 3 pallets removed (about 4300 lb each) but they only removed 2. This time I made a big deal out of it because I was tired of their BS. I almost gave the load back but the broker threw on an extra $100 for me to take the extra pallet.

    3. They sent me to the wrong store once. Got there and they had no idea about any shipment. Spent 2 hours waiting for them to figure it out. Turns out it was a store about 10 miles away.

I also noticed that none of the brokers that I did the loads through will work with them anymore. I think they were causing huge headaches for them as well. The last load I did the broker even told me they are a brand new customer and were having a very hard time covering these loads.

The old "invalid PU#" trick. It's just a ploy to buy the shipper time to get your load ready. They know exactly what you're doing there. Somehow they think the detention clock won't start until you have the "right" PU#.

I'm assuming this is Scott's lawn care products that weve known all our lives..........
Sorry to hear about their ways over there.

I moved a few dozen loads for them out of their Morrison,Il plant years ago- Pretty smooth as I recall-but never went thru a broker-Less confusion I guess.

Of course its bagged lawn care products- So your not going to be tipping the money scale neither.
