I'm a van choice IC...started in June. Despite all the folks you can find saying it isn't any good anymore, I (and many others) are doing well and like it. No dispatcher...choose loads from a huge board and assign them to yourself. Go where you want when you want. Large discount at PFJs or get the NASTC Fleetone card yourself for TA/Petro etc. The box (trailer) planners can cause pain sometimes but rarely...I've had three problems in five months so my BP med still works .

I leased a new truck via SNI. Their program is fair and beneficial IMO.

If you have many years experience and lots of cash, there are other programs you could consider. If you want to do flatbed, there are other programs to consider. For the rest of us, the SNI/SFI program is the best I could find after extensive research. Since you're already a Schneider driver, the transition will be real easy for you and you don't have to learn their weird workflow, etc....just need to learn to dispatch yourself.

Are you getting 50 to 70 cents a gallon discount at PFJ?
