If you fail the follicle test, yes- it will go on your record. Any failed test will. But you may want to check into the details of hair follicle testing. If that is all you did, it may not be enough of an amount to be recorded positive. There is plenty of information on the internet about the hair follicle test process that may answer any questions you might have. I will save the "drugs are bad speech," as you put it. I can see that you know that , already. If you are serious about your new choice of career and are willing to put activities like that behind you, it won't be long before you can pass the test. 2 months ago weren't you preparing to get your CDL? Why did you smoke the pot? One bad choice usually is trailed by other bad choices. With that said you're probably going to be fine but.......is that a chance you want to take? Shave your head and wait for it to grow back about an inch and a half!

 

Also make sure you are in good cardio shape and that you can lift 60 lbs in a milk crate from a table to your waist to your shoulders. With their new pre-work screen for tankers drivers, if your heart rate rises about a certain level...you're done. If you can't lift the 60 lb crate 3 times, you're done. They will send you home before you even start training.

 

Hair test can not go on your record.... Only pee test.... Hair test is not required by dot

 

If you fail "any" drug test it goes on your DOT Record period! Why do you think it asks you on every application if you have ever failed or refused a drug test? Don't go for Schneider!

 

If you smoked weed 2 months ago I would not and I repeat would not go to Schneider. First f all they're either going back 6 months to 1 year on the follicle test! You'll thank me later...

 

That's not correct. It will go on his record as failing a pre-employment drug screen. They will also throw it on his DAC as the reason he was not hired.

I will never understand why people screw around with a potential career by participating in activities that are on the "no-no" list.
