I'm looking for new brake Chambers. The original part number is MGM 1430001 which also is haldex sc30.
Is there an equivalent brand that is not as expensive? Is it bad to buy something that is not haldex or MGM? I see some that are quite a bit less expensive but I don't know where they are made or how they are made.
What do you guys use or recommend?

You get what you pay for. I prefer MGM and Haldex.
Rideandrepair and Dino soar Thank this. -
Well I was just curious because those are not the spring brakes they're just the brake with the diaphragm inside.
Since you replace the pancake inside I thought the housings were all the same basically. I could be very incorrect though that's why I'm asking.
Will a different brand rust away sooner or leak air or something?Rideandrepair Thanks this. -
I put mgms on my Truck, about 6-7 yrs ago. They were a little bit more. Painted black. Haven’t had a bit of trouble. Planned on replacing them all again with the same. Local parts store has a good price on Bendix. I’m undecided so far. My experience is that the cheap ones always wear a hole in the pancake. Right in the middle. Bad design. Rod riveted to metal disc. I avioid the cheap ones
Dino soar Thanks this.
