Hello,my handle is JYD and I'm a 27yr veteran driver (pulling dry van)needing to get back to work. If there are ANY owner operators or fleet owners that would at least listen to my situation(it's not what you might think) and help me out with a job I'd greatly appreciate it. I live in South Louisiana---please text me at 337-281-2195/JYD. I'm one of the good guys that's in a crusty situation. If ANYONE can help me with a job, text me. God bless

If you have an Issue and SAP gonna guess most O/O and small fleets will not be able to hire you. The reason is for the cost of insurance for them. You could be the best guy in the world but with the cost of insurance it is hard for a small guy to help you out. Hopefully you can find someone that will give you a chance. Best of Luck!
born&raisedintheusa, 77fib77 and 2Tap Thank this. -
check with some big farmers in the area who have trucks, and haul for hire.
They usually don’t deal with that.
Here as long as you got license and Ss# they’ll put you in a truck hauling their product to barge.Constant Learner, 77fib77 and Siinman Thank this. -
Try Western Express

Try going door to door in person with carriers in Louisiana and explain your situation while asking for a chance. There’s a good amount of carriers that do flatbed in your area that might have something to offer. Good luck.
Siinman Thanks this. -
@Chinatown may have information for you to help you out. He has helped out a lot of members of the forum, who have found themselves in various predicaments.
Good luck to you and your family!
God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!
The absolute sheer driving force of our national economy - without truck drivers, our entire national economy would come to an absolute standstill - if not outright be dead.
Over the mountains, through the woods, into the valleys, coast to coast, from sea to shining sea - truck drivers can and do go anywhere and everywhere, every day, every night, all year round. -
